Privacy Policy

In short: this website collects nothing. If you become a client, we handle sensitive documents — passports, bank statements, academic records, test scores — for one stated purpose: admission processing, visa document preparation, and referral to a licensed immigration adviser. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing.

1. This website

The public website has no forms, sets no cookies and runs no tracking. The ADEPT readiness check runs entirely in your browser; your answers are held in your own browser's storage so you can return to them, and are not transmitted to us or anyone else. If that ever changes, this notice changes first.

2. What we collect once you contact us

Please do not send passports, bank statements or certificates in a first message. We ask for documents only after we have understood your situation, and only through the channel we give you.

3. How we use it

No other purpose without fresh consent. No document containing identity or financial information is processed by a third-party AI model without your written consent, and your documents are not used to train one.

4. Who we share it with

We keep a disclosure register for each applicant: every party your file was shared with, what was shared, and when. You may ask for it. We do not sell, transfer or reuse your data for marketing, and nothing is shared with a provider without your written consent.

5. Storage and security

Documents are stored with an encrypted cloud provider outside Bangladesh. We tell you this at intake, in Bengali and English, before any document is collected. Access is role-based and limited to the people working on your file.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold, correct it, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. Access and correction requests are answered within 20 working days.

8. Cross-border transfer

Your application moves between Bangladesh and New Zealand, so your data is processed in both. We handle it in line with New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 and applicable Bangladeshi requirements.

9. Children's data

Where a parent or guardian provides information for a student under 18, the parent is responsible for its accuracy and for any consent required under local law.

Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 October 2026 · Applies to nzeduportal.com and the NZ EduPortal service, operated by Srija BD Limited.

1. The service

NZ EduPortal is a readiness assessment and application preparation service for New Zealand study. We provide verified information, the ADEPT readiness assessment, programme and provider selection, evidence assembly and verification, and — where a licensed adviser has signed the file off — preparation and lodgement of a student visa application. The readiness assessment is a preparation tool. It does not decide, predict or guarantee any outcome.

2. No guaranteed outcome

Important: Immigration New Zealand is the only authority that decides a visa application. NZ EduPortal and the advisers it works with cannot guarantee approval, a processing time, admission, employment, post-study work rights or residence. Report to us any statement suggesting otherwise.

3. Your information

You are responsible for making sure every document and detail you give us is accurate, current and genuine. False, forged or misleading information can lead to a visa decline, affect future applications and, in serious cases, prosecution. It ends our service to you.

4. Fees and payment

5. Commission

Some New Zealand providers pay us a commission when a student enrols. Where one is payable we disclose it in writing, by provider, before you pay us anything. Your fee does not change whether a commission is payable or not.

6. Licensed adviser relationship

Immigration advice within the meaning of the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007 is given only by a licensed immigration adviser, or a person acting within an exemption under that Act. Where an adviser charges a fee, the adviser contracts with you directly under their own written agreement. Nothing in these Terms limits the duties a licensed adviser owes you.

7. Intellectual property

The NZ EduPortal name, platform and assessment method belong to Srija BD Limited. You keep ownership of the documents and information you provide and license us to use them solely to assess and prepare your application.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Srija BD Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss connected to an Immigration New Zealand decision, a processing delay or a third party's action. This does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Ending the service

You may stop at any step. We may end the service if these Terms are breached or information is found to be false. Ending the service does not remove our obligation to retain records.

10. Complaints

About our services: in writing to the Managing Director; acknowledged in 3 working days and answered in 20. About immigration advice: the Immigration Advisers Authority. About a New Zealand provider: the provider first, then NZQA or iStudent Complaints.

11. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without prejudice to any New Zealand law that applies to immigration advice. Material changes are noted here with a new date.
